Endurance Health and Fitness specializes in Ironman, 1/2 Ironman and marathon coaching.  This is after all what Melissa knows.   As a 3-time Ironman Champion and a 2:56 marathoner that is where Melissa's passion and expertise lies.  Not only is her practical experience available to you but also many years of education(Melissa holds a BSc in Nutrition) is available to you.  Melissa started out as an age-group athlete and worked up the ranks to become one of the best in the world.  She prides herself on sharing with you, the athlete, her passion for sport and how to balance that passion with other aspects of your life.

Endurance Health and Fitness offers 1 coaching plan.  You get all of Melissa's knowledge and attention - there is no little bit of that or little bit of this.  It has been Melissa's experience that she simply can not limit what information she can provide you, and because life can be unexpected at times the ability to ebb and flow and make adjustments must be part of a good training plan.

  • This is a program that is dedicated to communication and is for the athlete that is looking for feedback, communication and a personalized plan.  This plan has unlimited email options and the opportunity for planned weekly phone calls at the cost to the athlete.  Numbers are limited in this plan to ensure everyone gets the time they need to achieve their goals as this program is very much a personal approach to coaching.  Schedules are sent out on a weekly basis and are adjusted with the personal needs of the athletes with the long term goal being the destination and ensuring the journey along the way is enjoyed.  Athletes are expected to write up a weekly summary of how things are going at the end of the weekly schedule.
    The more communication the better; therefore there are no suprises!  What we are about to embark on is a relationship and we all know communication is the key to any successful relationship.
    Melissa's philopsophy is simple - your training needs to fit into your life and therefore your goals must be clear.  You need to know what you want to get out of your coaching relationship, and out of your training and ultimately out of your racing.  There is no right or wrong answer, it's just an "is" thing  - but it is your "is" thing.     Oh yeah and remember to have some fun along the way!
