Happy October!

October is such a transitional month. Leaves on the trees are changing,the days get shorter, and a little cooler and you just start getting ready for the winter months ahead. For a triathlete October means Ironman Hawaii and this year it falls on October 13th. Four Endurance Health and Fitness Athletes have made the journey to the glorious island to accept the challange and enjoy the beauty of the island of Hawaii. While the triathlon season is slowing down, running season is in high swing and both Danielle and Melisa took to the streets this past weekend. Danielle played with some speed and helped raise awareness of Breast Cancer with the 5km Run for the Cure in Boulder and Melisa stuck to the long stuff and headed to St. George for the marathon. Just a little something in her "off season" before she starts to build towards her next IM in 2008 in Couer D'Alene.

Speaking of running, the Spooner Family is pleased to announce the addition of Lola, no doubt the fastest runner on the team and Mel and Chris are looking forward to runs in the park with their new 10-month old Rhodesian Ridgeback/Doberman. So....
