He quite simply would not give up and he just kept coming back when everyone may have thought he had been dropped from the front pack of runners, but he just kept digging deep and going for it and with 250m to go he went for it!  I know how exciting it was for us in our livingroom can not imagine what it would have been like for those in the stands watching it unfold before their eyes! 

The great thing about racing is that you just don't know what the outcome will be all you can do is put it out there give it your best and see how the day unfolds.  Congratulations on such a great event - PK will be proud of her Dad and now she has something shiny and Silver to play with!
