zip, zippy and Zoom!

This past weekend found me flying to Miami(quite possibly the farthest place I could fly to in North America from my little part of the world!) to take part in the ING 1/2 marathon with TEAM CHALLANGE - a 1/2marathon fundraising program for CCFA(Crohn's and Colitis foundation of America).  This race marked our 1 year anniversary of this amazing group and in this year we have raised over 6Million Dollars to find a cure for these diseases.  As expected it was an amazing weekend.  If you would like more information visit www.ccteamchallange.org  Our next events are Kona and Napa - going to be AWESOME!

While I was getting a suntan(YIPPEE!!!) the girls of Victoria were taking part in the 2nd race of the island race series "Cobble Hill" and the snow held off so that Kim, Karmen and Christina(aka Zip, Zippy and Zoom!) and of course Val (AKA pitter patter) could enjoy a beautiful course and a great day!  Way to go girls!  All the consistency you are showing through the winter will allow you to shine through the summer and the real race season!
