March treated everyone well and here is to looking at a bright April!
March treated many of EH&F athletes with personal bests and fast times whether it was during a season opener triathlon at UBC or a 1/2 marathon. Take Val where at the age of 62 she posted a personal best over the distance and broke 1:55 for a 1/2 (You rock girl!). And Christina, Kim and Karmen rocked it in the Comox Valley 1/2 as well enjoying perfect running temperatures and great running form. This past weekend Wade enjoyed the campus to campus 1/2marathon in Kelowna - a great way to start out his racing season as he sets his sights on Oliver 1/2 and then on to IMC in August. So as we say good-bye to an exciting March we welcome April and hopfully soon some spring temps!
April is shaping up to be a GREAT month as well. Brit is down in sunny California(did I mention that we got snow again this morning!!) getting ready for the California 70.3 this saturday. Many Okanagon folks will travel down to Oliver for the 10k this weekend and April for many in the North signifies the start of some bood biking weather and those in AZ are loving the spring conditions that April brings to the desert. So whereever you are - get out there and enjoy the great outdoors - April is going to be Awesome!
