The month of May is behind us and June finds us in full swing of racing! Fun times have been had and no doubt more are to come.

We will start with the Honu Half which to be fair did still happen in May - but more importantly than the date is the fact that Brit not only qualified AGAIN for Kona in winning her age-group but finished in the womens overall top-ten, another great day on the island, and of course Brit will be back in October to play some more!

This weekend saw 2 events occur in the beautiful Okanagan. Dawna completed her 2nd 50k in just 6 weeks as she continues to prep for her summer of running - a beautiful day at the scorched sole as the weather gods shined and brought cooler, more manageable temps to the Okanagan for race day - go runner girl go!

And the weather gods continued to shine into Sunday as 1200 athletes took part in the Oliver 1/2 on Sunday.  Great racing took place as first-timers tackled the distance and veteran racers looked to use it as a great build for IMC in the months to come.
