Many reasons to celebrate!

June and July have found Endurance Health and Fitness athletes travelling the world with somany experiences to share so lets get caught up........

On the racing scene Ironman Couer D'Alene and Ironman Japan have come and gone.  Christine Suter had a great day, a true IM experience with ups and downs and ultimately finishing strong with a top-10 finish in her age-group - as her IM experiences continue to grow Christine continues to challange herself - and yup has already signed up for 2010!

Ironman Japan was a very interesting experience for our girl Val.  The one thing about Val is that she truly goes after the experience- I will be posting her updates in a later post for you to read yourselves but a HUGE congrats go out to Val as she still managed to negative split the IM marathon given a nasty crash on the bike - not too shabby for the oldest female competitor in the race - she truly is our Rockstar!  We love you Val!!!!!!!!!  Postive healing energy for those scrapes and scratches - already has races planned for August!

In addition Karmen did th Vancouver 1/2marathon last weekend - working steadily towards her marathon goal in October - keep it rockin' girl!  I had the opportunity once again to join CCFA TEam challange(www.ccfateamchallange.org) at an amazing 1/2marathon - this time our location was Kona and we had 150 runners and walkers raising $$$ and awareness - we once again had 100% success rate and raised over $1million dollars for the cause.

Ronnie, Sooz and Sue T have made the jump across the Atlantic and are enjoying their taper in the Swiss countryside as they prepare for IM Switzerland on July 12 - remember to track them at www.ironman.com

Last but not least in addition to sending Val healing energy we also need to keep the loveable Nancy in our thoughts.  After spending several days in a Nice hospital recovering from a very nasty spill in the Alps Nancy is back home in Banff.  With more surgeries in her future - recovery will be a journey - and no doubt she will make great friends with all the docs, nurses and techs that she is involved with - already she has been on a hike with friends and her lovely husband.  She will be back stronger than ever with her bionic parts -

To Val and Nancy - live life to it's fullest- you both inspire us all, so remember to smell a flower today:)

Cheers,
