News Apr 24, 2007 The season is Here! Last week lots of racing happened in the more "sunnier" spots in North America and this weekend the Northern parts caught up. It may not have been the IM distance but Endurance Athletes took to 3 races around the continent this past weekend. Melisa found herself playing in the desert at "Rage in the Sage" held outside of Vegas. Due to high winds the swim was cancelled but a good time was had by all and you can check out Melisa's blog at http://mommelisa.blogspot.com. Michael Carson took part in the Delta Triathlon held in " sunny" Ladner - perhaps the sun will shine next time - but it didn't dampen any spirit as the athletes raced around the Delta and Michael had the opportunity to test out all is new Endurance fitness Daphne and D'arcey battled it out at the Sooke Triathlon on beautiful Vancouver Island. The first event in the rProvincial Race Series. All good season openers and a nice little view of what's to come. So....it is officially spring so get out there! Mel:) |
