The reality of life
OK, so the headline sounds a bit heavy and rather large but it is fitting given the circumstances.
Last weekend when my very good friend Janice was skiing with a group of our friends and my husband she had a very bad fall. In fact it was such a bad fall that Janice fractured her C3.
I just want to put it out there that I am thankful that my dear friend is OK. She can walk and she can talk and she can laugh. Janice has a wonderful spirit and I know that through this experience she will learn something new (my guess is that it is not needle point or quilting - I suggested that and she looked at me like I was nuts!) Janice has a long healing process and, as I said, she is doing well. And I am thankful that my friend is OK.
My point, be thankful for the day, for the moment, for good friends and for life because all are very precious,
Be good,
Mel
