Lots to talk about with Endurance Health and Fitness Athletes!

Where do we begin....we have a bit to catch up on so let's start off with last weekend and Britni's race...

Last weekend, May 12th, yup you read the date correctly, was the start of open water swim racing(Brrrr...) in British Columbia with the first ever Cultus Lake Triathlon held just outside of Chilliwack.  This race is organized by Outback Events - the same organization that puts on the Oliver 1/2 and the Desert 1/2 and over the past month I have had the opportunity to get to know both Joe and Sarah Dixon and these two do no disappoint as a great time was had by all.  Topping of a great event Britni raced to her first overall win in the womens Olympic distance race.  With her Kona spot in hand, Britni is taking the opportunity to play with some shorter distance races and having a great tme with it!  Congratulations Britni!

This past weekend was a bit quieter up North here with the long weekend providing a great training opportunity for most, and many keen IMC participants headed to Penticton to play on parts of the course.  Chris(my husband) and I had the chance to lecture for a group of athletes from Edmonton from Aerobic Power Training who were taking advantage of the great Okanagon training in addition to meeting up with Michael Carson for a spin in Penticton  - what a great way to spend the Victoria Day weekend

In the South  - more racing was had.  This week Marc headed to Florida for the Disney 70.3 race and came up with a solid effort finishing in a strong 4:47 - not too shabby for a great training day as Marc gets ready to head up to IM Couer D'Alene in June.  Danielle played with some speed at the Tempe Triathlon finishing first in her 20-24 age group.  Way to go group!

Last but not least Rob Harter had a great time with friends as they trekked from the south side of the Grand Canyon to the North Rim and back!

More activity happening this week with the Splash and Dash in AZ, and the first Shawnigan Lake 1/2 Ironman both taking place on Saturday,

So.....stay tuned and get out there and have some fun!
