We are in the midst of a very exciting Triathlon season and things just keep getting more fun! Where to start.....
First, I have been busy guiding a wine tour - more to come on that on my blog and currently I am in San Diego meeting with the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation as I have been asked to be the National Run Coach as the CCFA launches their Team Challange - a fund-raising campaign for Crohn's and Colitis. As you know this cause is very dear to my heart and I feel so very privledged to be asked to be part of this - so I will keep you posted as things move forward with it, but it is going to be simply great!
Endurance Health and Fitness Athletes have been super busy! Starting with the July 8th weekend, Britni had a great 70.3 race at Lake Stevens in Beautiful Washington State. On a challanging course she just was just shy of the 5:00hour mark - way to go Brit and now she has Kona on her sights! On July 8th the Kal Rats(the local Vernon triathlon club) hosted their sprint distance triathlon and this race marked the return of my husband Chris to racing- very fun! Last weekend was the Peach Classic Triathlon, celebrating its 25th year and as always hot temps greated athletes. Michael cruised to a PB over the Olympic Distance and now is set for the final build to IMC on August 26th. This weekend grants no rest for these active athletes as both Danielle and Val will be enjoying wine country in California as they take on Vineman. so.....what are you waiting for.....get out there and MOVE!
